Summer is slowly making its way to GNP. It has been a wet spring and the rivers are taking it all in. The Going-to-the-Sun-Road hasn't been open to cars yet, but when the sun comes out so do the bikers! Summer is coming slowly but surely like it does every year.
The weeping wall (pictured right) is a product of building the Going-to-the-Sun-Road. When the road was built, the builders had to blast away parts of the mountain to be able to get to the top. In doing this, they exposed little outlets of water that can be seen in many places all along the road today. The Weeping Wall, though, is probably the most magnificent example of this. It is about a hundred foot stretch of water coming off of the mountain onto the road. The wall is a common stop off point for tourists, and if you ever see it in real life, then you know why. Its beauty is awe-inspiring. The sound of the water rushing off of the mountain and crashing onto the road is a breathtaking. The Weeping Wall is a must see in GNP. Whether you want to get a creative picture, get drenched from standing under it, or just capture it in your mind, it's a fun, scenic stop off.

Springtime in the Park
It's getting to be that time of year again! The flowers are blooming, the snow is melting away, and the animals are coming out and bathing in the sun. The waterfalls are flowing again and more and more people are heading up there over weekends. Hiking has been looking pretty good. I have been planning on doing some hikes The water is slowly starting to melt, but it isn't quite ready to go boating on seeing how its probably about 36 degrees... But the time is coming!
